Description
The Sarcococca plant is native in between eastern and southeastern Asia. The plant's native habit is the evergreen, favoring moist and forested areas. With it's height ranging from 24 inches down to 12 inches the average Sacrococca plant does not stand very tall. The plant is used mainly as ground cover for low informal hedges or in a woodland garden. The Sacrococca plant is a very sturdy plant which can tolerate pollution and neglect from resources. One common nickname for this plant is the "sweet box".

The Sacrococca plant has many uses for humanity. The plant is widely known for it's unique aromatic smell and is sometimes used in retail stores and residential apartment complex to improve the quality of smell in the area and at the same time as doing that, beautifying the rest of the area with it's presence. The Sacrococca plant is also very popular for home gardening; due to it's natural beauty and ease of growing. Due to it's size and ability to absorb shade, the Sacrococca plant is also a very viable companion when being planted with much smaller shade loving plants.

Everyday Bob walks the same three block route back to his house from his local job at the Pizzeria. There are many different sidewalk patterns or shortcuts Bob could take on his way home but, he walks the same two blocks north and followed by the final block left everyday. He does this because on the second street he walks up on his trek home, he also passes a wonderful aromatic smell. The smell he smells comes from a majestic Sacrococca plant growing in one of the backyards adjacent to the second street he walks home. Except the only problem is that Bob doesn't know this and has no idea why he always smells this amazing smell; which in fact frustrates him. He becomes obsessed with finding out what this smell is and his behavior begins to dramatically change. He begins nightly walks down the street in which he smells the aromatic scent, and tries to trace out where the smell is coming from. And on one night when he believes he finds the source of the smell, he takes to action and hops the fence between him and the source of the smell into a backyard. There was fierce excitement in Bob's heart; knowing he is about to find out the smell that has been craving to find out for so long as he trailed the scent through this backyard. Finally Bob came upon this huge bush in the corner of this backyard and he knew this is where the smell was coming from. This bush was unlike anything Bob had every seen before; it had thin moist green leaves which reflected pieces of the eerie moon of the night off them and small black berries coming out if it. Bob was surprised to find out that it was this Sarcococca bush that had caused this aroma he'd been looking for; he expected it to be some form of perfume or something artificial. He was amazed that the intense aroma could be caused naturally and began to admire the intense beauty of the Sacrococca plant. For the first time in Bob's life he began to realize the true potential that nature around him, like the Sacrococca bush, had to offer and helped him change his perspective on mother nature and how the simplest things in life like a aromatic smelling bush, could bring us the same or better products that we see everyday with less the environmental damage.
